I'm so happy with these! They fit perfectly on the first try, no adjustment needed. They feel very comfortable as they are so lightweight and sit at a good distance out from my eyelashes. The posted materials listing just says "mixed" but I would say probably not acetate, more likely a variety of plastic. But the black grid and checkerboard patterns are pointing inwards so they should be protected from wear, and the metal is flat which provides some strength despite the lightness. I like the look too. The red is a deep burgundy-cherry, not at all pink - hopefully the finish will last well! I wish that the darker checkerboard pattern was used for the upper point, rather than the subtle gridlines, so that it could look more cat-eye. But the patterns provide plenty of interest even with the more sedate browline shape.
