Eyewear, whether it be bifocals or sunglasses, shapes how we see the world and how the world sees us. Enter eyewear brand Vooglam, which has teamed up with streetwear label TOMBOGO for a new limited-edition collaboration.


Vooglam and TOMBOGO’s collaboration is designed for the curious, exploratory mind. Each frame is archetypically named after TOMBOGO’s idea of an “experiential learning outlet”—a wearable role, part tool, part thought experiment. The Geologist is bold and rugged, as if cleaved from a block of stone. The Programmer, meanwhile, comes equipped with a fully functional 64-gigabyte USB drive embedded in the temple arm. TOMBOGO’s eyewear sits at the intersection of utility and experimentation. It’s designed for the ambitiously curious—those unwilling to take the world at face value, and eager to dig a little deeper.


That ethos starts at the top. Founded in 2020 by Tommy Bogo, TOMBOGO has built its reputation on functional experimentation. “The collaboration between TOMBOGO and Vooglam excites me because it will expand the limits of functional eyewear,” he says. “Vooglam has helped me bring to life several eyewear design ideas I’ve wanted to create, which would have been quite difficult to make on my own. TOMBOGO is known for its innovative approach to fashion design, and with this Vooglam partnership, we will be doing the same in the eyewear field.”
